For children ages 3-5 in the Carbondale community (including families from Desoto, Giant City, and Unity Point districts)

march 12th 2025 Astro Road Trip
Chicago's Adler Planetarium is coming to The Science Center! Fun, hands-on activities led by Adler staff will include seeing and touching our fabulous Moon, Mars, and asteroid meteorite collection, making a drawing of the Moon using chalk and construction paper, and creating lunar craters using household materials. Event runs from 11:00-1:00 and 2:00-3:00. Come in and check it out
